Undergraduate Audition Opportunities at Berklee Summer Programs

Enrolled students—in Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive, a Boston Conservatory at Berklee summer program, or the Spain Summer Performance Program at Berklee Valencia—have the opportunity to participate in a live audition and interview for admission and scholarship consideration for the undergraduate programs at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee, depending on their anticipated high school graduation year.

If the summer program you are enrolled in does not offer a live audition and interview opportunity—or you are otherwise unable to complete one during your program—you may still apply to Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee following the standard admissions process.

Did you know? Students who attend a Berklee summer program receive an undergraduate application fee waiver. That means you can save $150 when it’s time to apply for college.

How to Sign Up for an Audition

Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive Students

For Aspire students who would like to apply to an undergraduate program at Berklee College of Music, the online application for fall 2027 admission becomes available on July 1, 2026. You must submit an undergraduate application in order to schedule an audition during Aspire. Please use the same email address on your undergraduate application as you used to enroll in Aspire.

• Fall undergraduate application opens: July 1, 2026

• Audition and interview information session: July 17, 2026, from 1:30–3 p.m. in the Berklee Performance Center

• Deadline to submit the online application form: July 30, 2026

• Auditions/interviews take place: July 25 and August 1, 2026

• Deadline to submit supporting documents (e.g., transcripts, TOEFL, etc.): September 15

• Admissions decisions issued by: October 15

• Deadline to submit tuition deposit for fall enrollment: May 1

• Classes start: September

Not ready to apply to Berklee yet? If you are not a rising senior and are interested in auditioning for a scholarship to attend next summer’s Aspire program, you will receive an email with instructions on how to sign up for an audition. You do not need to submit an undergraduate application.

Boston Conservatory at Berklee Summer Programs Students

For Boston Conservatory at Berklee Summer Programs students who would like to apply to an undergraduate program at Boston Conservatory, the online application for fall 2027 admission becomes available on July 1, 2026. You must submit an undergraduate application in order to schedule an audition during your program.

For Spain Summer Performance Program students who would like to apply to an undergraduate program at Berklee College of Music, the online application for fall 2027 admission becomes available on July 1, 2026. Auditions and interviews will take place on July 25, 2026. You must submit an undergraduate application in order to schedule an audition during your program.
