Our flexible withdrawal options and refund policy have you covered if your summer plans change.
Flexible Options to Withdraw
We know that summer plans can sometimes change. You may cancel for any reason at least one month prior to your in-person, US-based Summer Program and receive 100 percent of your tuition and housing payment back.
You have the option to withdraw and receive a refund of any tuition and/or housing payments based on when you submit your written withdrawal notice. Please note that registration fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and Berklee is unable to refund the 2.95 percent service charge for credit or debit card payments. Additionally, Berklee cannot be held responsible for any currency rate fluctuations between the date of purchase and the date of the refund.
Refund Timeline
Standard Withdrawal Refund Policy
100 percent tuition and housing refund: To receive a 100 percent tuition and housing refund, submit your withdrawal form at least one month prior to the first day of the program in ET.
50 percent tuition and housing refund: If you withdraw less than one month before the program begins, submit your withdrawal form by 5 PM ET on the first day of the program.
No refunds for non-medical withdrawals are available after the first day of the program.
Medical Withdrawal Refund Policy
You are required to submit written verification from a doctor on letterhead within 30 days of your written withdrawal request that confirms you couldn't complete the program due to a medical issue. Please note the doctor’s note must be in English and in an uneditable format to be considered.
100 percent tuition and housing refund: To receive a 100 percent tuition and housing refund, submit your withdrawal form prior to the first day of the program.
Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive: After the program begins, refunds for Aspire students are tiered by week. Submit your written withdrawal request to receive an 80 percent tuition and housing refund in week 1 with a 20 percent refund reduction per week with approval. Supporting documentation from your medical provider must be received within 30 days of your withdrawal request.
Other In-Person, US-Based Summer Programs: After the program begins, you can submit your written withdrawal form to receive a 50 percent tuition and housing refund with approval. Supporting documentation from your medical provider must be received within 30 days of your withdrawal request.
